Role Description The Owner role at Sparc Podcast is a full-time, in office position based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The Owner will oversee the overall vision, strategy, and growth of the podcast, including content direction, guest selection, and audience engagement.

Daily tasks include planning episode themes, coordinating recording schedules, managing production timelines, and collaborating with editors, marketers, and partners. The Owner will handle brand development, community-building initiatives, and social media presence, while also monitoring analytics to guide decisions on format, topics, and distribution. This role involves managing budgets, identifying collaboration and sponsorship opportunities, and ensuring that every episode reflects Sparc’s mission of inspiring and educating listeners.

Qualifications

- Experience in podcasting, audio or video content creation, or media production, with strong storytelling capabilities.
- Skills in strategic planning,



brand building, and audience growth across digital platforms.
- Ability to manage projects end-to-end, including scheduling, coordination with guests, and overseeing production workflows.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interviewing guests and nurturing community relationships.
- Comfort with social media management, basic marketing, and engagement with a Gen Z and young adult audience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to handle budgeting, partnerships, and sponsorship outreach.
- High level of initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn, experiment, and adapt in a fast-evolving media landscape.
- Relevant experience or education in media, communications, business, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
