Role & responsibilities

Vendor Management & Development

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suitable outsourcing vendors (job workers, stitching units, processors).
- Build long-term vendor partnerships with explicit Service Level Agreement on quality, lead time, and pricing.
- Continuously assess vendor capability, capacity, and performance.

2. Production Planning & Execution

- Convert development orders into production-ready programs.
- Align vendor production plans with internal T&A; timelines.
- Monitor daily/weekly production status and proactively resolve bottlenecks.

3. Quality Assurance & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to approved samples, specifications, and technical standards.
- Coordinate inline and final inspections (internal & third-party).
- Drive reduction in rejections, B-grade outputs, and rework.

4. Costing & Commercial Control

- Negotiate processing, stitching, and value-addition costs with vendors.




- Optimize production cost without compromising quality benchmarks.
- Work closely with merchandising team on margin alignment.

5. OTIF & Delivery Management

- Ensure on-time and in-full delivery commitments.
- Track shipment readiness vs plan and escalate delays proactively.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for smooth inward/outward flow.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Work closely with merchandising, design, QC, warehouse, and finance teams.
- Align on priorities, approvals, and production critical paths.
- Ensure seamless information flow between internal and external stakeholders.

7. Process & System Discipline

- Maintain production trackers, vendor performance dashboards, and reports.
- Drive adherence to ERP systems
