Role Description The Outreach Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting Rovo Health’s community engagement and communication initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research on relevant organizations, communities, and audiences; assisting with digital outreach campaigns; and drafting clear, inclusive messages for email, social media, and other communication channels. The intern will help respond to inquiries, support customer and community interactions, and maintain accurate records of outreach activities.

This role also involves coordinating with internal team members, tracking outreach metrics, and proposing improvements to engagement strategies. The internship provides hands-on experience in health-related outreach,



with opportunities to learn about communications, community building, and impact-driven work.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills, including the ability to craft clear, professional, and inclusive messages.

Candidates should possess Customer Service and Community Outreach skills to engage respectfully with diverse individuals and organizations.

Candidates should possess solid Research skills to identify potential partners, gather information, and summarize findings effectively.

Basic familiarity with digital tools (e.g., email platforms, spreadsheets, and social media), along with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Demonstrated interest in health, public health, community engagement, or a related field; prior volunteer or internship experience is beneficial.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment, take feedback constructively, and collaborate with a distributed team.

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in communications, public health, social sciences, or a related discipline is a plus, but not required.
