Role Overview :
As an Oracle Identity/Access Governance (OIG/OAG) specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure identity frameworks that protect enterprise assets. You will collaborate closely with security architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless access control and compliance across complex IT ecosystems. Your work will directly impact the organization's security posture by streamlining user lifecycle management, mitigating unauthorized access risks, and ensuring that identity governance policies are effectively enforced across all integrated platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and deploy Oracle Identity Governance (OIG) and Oracle Access Management (OAM) solutions to streamline user provisioning and authentication workflows.
- Develop custom connectors and extensions using Java to integrate OIG with diverse enterprise applications and legacy systems.
- Configure and maintain access policies, workflows, and approval processes to ensure strict adherence to organizational security and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot complex identity-related issues and performance bottlenecks to minimize downtime and ensure high availability of security services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business security requirements into scalable technical configurations within the Oracle IAM suite.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing end-to-end Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) lifecycles for large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in Java development for customizing OIG/OAM components, including event handlers, scheduled tasks, and custom plugins.
- Strong analytical capabilities to diagnose and resolve intricate authentication and authorization challenges within distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively document technical architectures and articulate security strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to operate independently in a fully remote environment, managing project timelines and deliverables with minimal supervision.
- A minimum of 6 - 10 years of skilled experience in identity management and Oracle security technologies.
