About the Role

Join the Oracle Platform Engineering team at Milwaukee Tool, a global leader in innovation, quality, and industry-leading solutions. As an Oracle Platform Principal Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise Oracle Fusion solutions across Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and ERP. You'll play a key role in driving platform innovation through Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS), enterprise reporting, and Redwood modernization initiatives.

Working closely with architects, product owners, business leaders, and engineering teams, you'll establish technical standards, deliver scalable cloud solutions, and shape the future of Milwaukee Tool's Oracle platform.

Location: Hyderabad & Bangalore (Candidates currently residing in either location are encouraged to apply.)

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and support enterprise Oracle Fusion technical solutions across Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), ERP, and related Oracle Cloud modules.
- Develop and maintain reporting and data extraction solutions using BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, BICC, FDI, and other Oracle reporting technologies.
- Build and support FBDI data load processes and ESS job automation.
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL solutions supporting Oracle Fusion applications, reporting, and integrations.
- Develop and support enterprise integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) while collaborating with integration engineers on inbound and outbound data flows.
- Design and consume REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON-based services to support Oracle Fusion integrations.
- Evaluate, modernize, and enhance Oracle Fusion customizations and platform extensions.
- Support Oracle Redwood page customizations and migration initiatives to deliver modern user experiences.




- Collaborate with architects, Product Owners, business analysts, and functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead technical design reviews, deployment planning, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root cause analysis.
- Ensure solutions comply with Oracle development standards, security requirements, governance policies, and release management processes.
- Partner with platform support teams to improve system reliability, availability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Establish proactive monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting strategies across Oracle platforms.
- Champion DevOps practices by defining CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management processes.
- Mentor engineers, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Oracle platform standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in enterprise application development, Oracle technical development, or platform engineering.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud technical development.
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Fusion Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and ERP technical capabilities.
- Expert-level experience with Oracle technologies, including:

- FBDI

- ESS

- OTBI

- BI Publisher (BIP)

- FDI

- BICC
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development.




- Extensive experience designing and supporting Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) solutions.
- Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON integration patterns.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
- Experience supporting Oracle Redwood page customization and Redwood migration initiatives.
- Experience working within large enterprise Oracle SaaS environments.

Technical & Skilled Skills

- Experience with OCI Monitoring, logging, dashboarding, performance monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management.
- Experience mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards and development best practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Oracle Cloud certifications are highly preferred.
