Oracle Database Architect (ODS / Data Platform)

We are hiring an experienced Oracle Database Architect with robust expertise in Oracle Database, ODS (Operational Data Store), and Enterprise Data Platform environments. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Oracle database development, SQL/PLSQL programming, performance tuning, data governance, and enterprise data architecture.

Job Summary:

The role requires a highly skilled Oracle professional with hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and supporting large-scale ODS and Data Warehouse platforms. The candidate will be responsible for driving data platform governance, ensuring operational excellence, improving database performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable and reliable data solutions.

Primary Skills (Must Have):

- Strong experience with Oracle Database
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development
- Oracle performance tuning and query optimization
- Experience working with large-scale ODS/Data Warehouse environments
- Strong understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and ETL concepts

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead ODS governance and operational excellence initiatives
- Manage data quality, metadata, data lineage,



and access controls
- Optimize ETL workflows, SQL queries, and overall database performance
- Work closely with ETL Developers, DBAs, Data Architects, and business stakeholders
- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, availability, and SLA compliance
- Drive automation, standardization, and continuous process improvements
- Support enterprise data governance and implement best practices across the data platform

Good to Have:

- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or DataStage
- Shell or Python scripting
- ORDS / REST API development
- Exposure to governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, or Informatica EDC
- Understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DataOps methodologies

Preferred Profile:

- Oracle-focused professionals with strong backend and database expertise
- Experience in ODS, Data Warehouse, Enterprise Data Platform, or Data Lake environments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
