Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Optometrist to join our Sales and Customer Success team.
In this role, you will leverage your clinical knowledge to demonstrate ASIRA products, support prospective customers, assist with onboarding, and ensure successful product adoption.
This role is ideal for an optometrist who enjoys technology, communication, and helping fellow practitioners improve their clinical and business workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
- Conduct online product demonstrations for prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate ASIRA solutions.
- Assist the sales team in converting qualified leads into customers.
- Follow up with prospective customers and maintain regular communication.
- Support the preparation of proposals and quotations.
Customer Success
- Onboard new customers onto the ASIRA platform.
- Conduct training sessions for doctors, optometrists, and clinic staff.
- Provide first-level customer support and resolve routine customer queries.
- Ensure customers successfully adopt and utilise ASIRA features.
- Build strong long-term relationships with customers.
Clinical Product Expertise
- Act as a subject matter expert for clinical workflows within ASIRA.
- Provide feedback to the product team regarding customer requirements and workflow improvements.
- Help create educational content, webinars, and training materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the relevant professional body (preferred).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Good computer skills and comfort using technology platforms.
- Fluency in English and at least one regional language.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in optometric practice.
- Experience using EMR or practice management software.
- Experience in training, customer support, or sales.
- Familiarity with ophthalmology or optical retail workflows.

- Number of product demonstrations conducted.
