The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating management activities of the operations in conjunction with the General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Contribute effectively to guest experiences, manage all guest responses, organize guest meet ups, work with line team members to develop guest experiences, make operations smoother and easier.
- Conduct regular operations meeting with all HODs to discuss routine operational matters, departmental performance targets and guest feedback.
- Work closely with Sales Marketing and Revenue teams to enhance and optimize the overall performance of the hotel.
- Manage and optimize hotel budgets, controlling expenses and maximizing revenue.
- Be responsible for all day-to-day queries, complaints or problems that arise in the hotel.
- Drive brand audits and Guest satisfaction as a key deliverable with an emphasis on generating innovative ways to continually improve results.
- Ensure consistent implementation and review of SOPs throughout all Departments.
- Promote a positive employee relations culture through effective communication and regular team meetings.
- Ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health and Safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the Hotel premises.
Qualifications
- Degree in Hospitality Hotel Management/MBA in Hospitality Management.
- 10-12 years of work experience in Hospitality and Must have prior experience in a management role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills.
Additional Information
- Secondary / High school education
- Certificates in National Skills Recognition System, CPR, First Aid Management and Basic Fire Fighting will be advantageous
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Positive reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- No criminal record
- Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
