Role Description This part-time remote role as an Online Gen AI Mentor (US Shift) involves guiding students through interactive, online sessions focused on generative AI concepts and applications. The mentor will explain AI topics in an age-appropriate, engaging manner, demonstrate practical examples, and support students as they work on projects and exercises.

Daily tasks include preparing lesson content, reviewing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and answering questions during and after sessions. The mentor will use Codeyoung’s curriculum and tools, maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment,



and collaborate with the teaching team to refine materials based on student needs and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Communication skills to explain complex AI concepts clearly and facilitate interactive, student-centric sessions.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Research abilities to understand generative AI trends and tailor content to different age groups.
- Candidates should possess effective Writing skills to create or adapt lesson materials, project guides, and feedback for learners.
- Candidates should possess Training skills and experience in mentoring or teaching, ideally in online or technology-focused environments.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools and basic programming concepts is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working across time zones on US shifts and managing virtual classrooms or small group sessions.
- Background in computer science, education, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is also valued.
- Ability to create an inclusive, encouraging environment for learners from diverse backgrounds.
