Role & Responsibilities

- Provide safe, compassionate, and skilled nursing care to patients.

- Monitor patients condition, vital signs, and treatment progress.

- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and other prescribed treatments.

- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, dressing changes, and minor surgeries.

- Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, medication charts, and treatment documentation.

- Update patient information, billing-related details, and clinical records using the hospital computer system.

- Assist with patient admission, transfer, discharge, and follow-up instructions.

- Educate patients and their family members regarding medications, treatment, hygiene, and home care.

- Maintain infection-control standards and ensure cleanliness of the nursing station and patient-care areas.

- Check the availability of medicines, consumables, and emergency equipment.

- Coordinate with doctors, laboratory staff, pharmacy staff, and other hospital team members.

- Respond promptly and calmly during emergencies.





- Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and duty schedules.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Diploma or degree in Nursing, such as GNM or B.Sc. Nursing.

- Valid nursing registration, wherever applicable.

- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.

- Good communication skills and a respectful attitude towards patients and colleagues.

- Responsible, punctual, organised, and willing to work as part of a team.

- Comfortable using a computer for patient registration, clinical documentation, billing support, and other hospital software.

- Willing to learn new digital systems and hospital workflows.

- Able to work independently and handle routine patient-care responsibilities.

- Willing to work rotational shifts, weekends, or night duties as required.

- Preference may be given to candidates with prior hospital or clinical experience.
