Position: NPD Head – Heavy Fabrication

Location: Pithampur Plant

Experience: 18+ Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineering

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) for heavy fabrication projects from RFQ to SOP.
- Independently manage domestic and global OEM customers (USA & Europe preferred).
- Drive APQP, PPAP, SPC, GD&T; (ASME Y14.5), and project execution.
- Develop manufacturing processes for Driver Cabins, welded structures, and construction/mining/off-road equipment.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Purchase, Tool Room, and Supply Chain for timely project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and preferably ISO 3834-2.
- Lead, mentor,



and develop a high-performing NPD team while driving continuous improvement and cost optimization.
- Manage project risks, customer requirements, engineering changes, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Heavy Fabrication and Sheet Metal Manufacturing.
- Expertise in Laser, Oxy/Plasma Cutting, Brake Press, Welding, Painting, and Assembly processes.
- Excellent understanding of APQP, PPAP, GD&T;, SPC, and manufacturing quality systems.
- Solid leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, risk management, and customer handling skills.
- Excellent communication and fluency in English.
