Job Summary

We are looking for talented and motivated Node.js professionals to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, API development, databases, and cloud technologies. Depending on experience, candidates may contribute as Developers, Lead Developers, or Architects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
- Build secure, reusable, and high-performance microservices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Design and maintain database schemas, queries, and data models.
- Implement authentication, authorization, logging, and security best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making (Lead/Architect roles).
- Mentor junior developers and drive technical excellence (Lead/Architect roles).

Required Skills
- Solid experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.




- Experience in developing REST APIs and GraphQL services.
- Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with MongoDB and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with Redis for caching.
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
- Experience working on AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Good understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and Node.js internals.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and SDLC.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Understanding of API security (OAuth, JWT, OpenID Connect).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies are an added advantage.
