Role Description The News Intern will support the editorial team in gathering, researching, and writing news stories for digital publication. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring news sources, fact-checking information, drafting articles, assisting with interviews, and helping prepare content for web and social media channels. The intern may also support basic broadcasting activities such as scripting or arranging segments.

This is an internship role with a hybrid work arrangement, primarily based in Noida with some work-from-home flexibility.





Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong News Writing and Writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and engaging content under deadlines.

Candidates should possess solid Communication and Broadcasting skills to assist with interviews, on-air or recorded segments, and collaborative editorial work.

Candidates should possess effective Research skills to verify facts, gather background information, and identify newsworthy angles.

Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, ethical journalism practices, and a strong interest in current affairs and media.

Candidates with coursework or experience in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related fields are preferred.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a hybrid setting, be proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance from senior team members.
