Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Network Support Engineer role based in Ahmedabad.

The Network Support

Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting wired and wireless networks, including switches, routers, media converters, and related infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving network incidents, performing root cause analysis, and providing technical support to internal teams, partners, and customers. The role involves configuring and securing network devices,



supporting structured cabling and fiber optic installations, and assisting with upgrades and optimization of data center and campus networks.

The Network Support

Engineer will also document configurations, maintain network diagrams, collaborate with sales and project teams on pre- and post-sales technical solutions, and ensure adherence to security and performance best practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Engineering for configuring, managing, and optimizing switches, routers, and overall infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to diagnose issues, resolve network faults, and provide timely assistance to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Security to implement and maintain secure network architectures, access controls, and protection against threats.
- Relevant experience with structured cabling, fiber optic installations (multimode and single-mode), and campus or metro networks is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams are important.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent vendor certifications are an advantage.
- Familiarity with industrial connectivity products, IP camera systems, and remote monitoring solutions will be considered a plus.
