Role : Network Operations Manager

Experience : 10 + Years

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and support the global implementation of Fortinet SD-WAN ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards.
- Drive implementation and operational readiness of SASE/Zscaler solutions, including coordination with security, infrastructure, cloud, and regional IT teams.
- Work closely with vendors, managed service providers, and implementation partners to review solution designs, validate technical approaches, and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with regional IT teams across the globe to plan deployments, resolve dependencies, manage risks, and support rollout activities.
- Review network architecture, implementation plans, configuration standards, migration approaches, and operational handover documentation.
- Track project milestones, dependencies, issues, risks, and action items, and provide regular progress updates to management and executive leadership.
- Provide solid hands-on expertise in enterprise network administration, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, WAN, LAN, DNS, connectivity, and troubleshooting.
- Support AWS cloud networking activities, including VPC design, routing, connectivity, security controls, firewall integration, and hybrid network connectivity.
- Ensure network solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with global IT governance and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to establish standard operating procedures, monitoring practices, escalation processes, and post-implementation support models.
- Prepare executive-level reports, project dashboards, technical summaries, and decision papers for senior stakeholders.
- Act as a senior technical advisor for network transformation, cloud connectivity, security integration, and operational improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in enterprise network administration, architecture, implementation,



and operations.
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies, preferably Fortinet SD-WAN and FortiGate firewalls.
- Experience with SASE and Zero Trust network access platforms, preferably Zscaler ZIA/ZPA.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols, WAN technologies, VPN, IPsec, BGP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, proxy, and network segmentation.
- Experience in AWS cloud networking, including VPCs, route tables, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, security groups, network ACLs, and cloud firewall concepts.
- Ability to review network designs, validate implementation plans, assess risks, and recommend improvements.
- Experience with network monitoring, incident management, change management, and operational governance.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles related to network infrastructure, secure access, cloud connectivity, and zero trust architecture.

Leadership and Management Skills :

- Strong project tracking, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with global teams across different countries, cultures, and time zones.
- Proven experience working with vendors and managed service providers to deliver complex infrastructure programs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters clearly to senior and executive leadership.
- Ability to prepare management reports, project status updates, executive summaries, and decision-support materials.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive outcomes, follow up on actions, and ensure accountability across teams.
