Mizuho Global Services (Pune) is establishing a state-of-the-art Global Capability Center (GCC) in Pune, powering the strategic expansion of Mizuho Americas Services' IT operations. At the heart of this initiative is the creation of a next-generation Technology Operations Center (TOC), modeled on a "mission control" concept delivering real-time visibility, proactive incident management, and intelligent automation across critical infrastructure and applications. The Pune GCC will not only drive operational excellence but also act as a hub for innovation, transformation, and continuous improvement in Mizuho's technology landscape.

You will be joining one of the most advanced technology command center teams, helping to build and execute critical 24x7 operations for a major Investment Bank.

About The Role We are seeking a dedicated Network Operations Specialist to join our Technology Operations Center in Pune. This role is crucial for maintaining the stability and security of Mizuho's global network infrastructure.

As part of our 24/7 operational team, you will be responsible for monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting network devices and circuits, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal downtime. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about network operations, eager to work in a dynamic environment supporting a major financial institution.

You will be operating in a rotating shift pattern, including early, late, and overnight shifts, to provide continuous support across all hours. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include incident management, problem resolution,



and proactive monitoring to prevent potential issues. Collaborating closely with US-based infrastructure teams and global colleagues, you will contribute to maintaining high standards of operational excellence and service delivery.

Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must possess relevant experience and qualifications in network operations support within a multinational environment. A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience is required for Analyst level, while more senior levels demand greater expertise and experience.

- For Analyst roles: At least 1 year of experience in network support, with foundational knowledge of core network concepts and troubleshooting.
- For Associate roles: A minimum of 4 years of experience, including network installation, upgrades, and incident management.
- For Assistant Vice President roles: At least 7 years of extensive experience, with proven ability to handle large-scale incidents and complex troubleshooting.

Educational qualifications should include a Bachelor of Engineering or a Degree in Computer Science. Industry-recognized certifications, especially in Cisco technologies (such as CCNA, CCNP), are highly preferred. Familiarity with global banking or highly regulated environments, along with knowledge of ITIL processes and tools like ServiceNow, will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential for effective incident reporting, shift handovers, and collaboration with international teams. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and support Mizuho's global network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud-based networks, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.




- Act as the first responder for network device and circuit incidents, coordinating rapid recovery efforts and root cause analysis.
- Follow detailed runbooks and standard operating procedures to manage alerts, incidents, and changes efficiently and accurately.
- Engage in proactive incident management by identifying potential issues before they impact services and suggesting improvements to operational processes.
- Collaborate with US infrastructure teams to review incidents, update runbooks, and implement best practices for network support.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate incident documentation, ensuring clear communication during shift handovers and incident reviews.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to foster a learning environment that emphasizes continuous improvement.
- Participate in technical discussions, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex network issues, including routing protocols, network topology, and connectivity problems.
- Coordinate with telecom service providers during outages, troubleshooting last-mile issues, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Contribute to process improvements related to SLA adherence, incident reduction, and operational efficiency, leveraging data and observations.
