Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our clients' complex network infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with project managers, field engineers, and client IT teams to ensure seamless network operations and optimal performance.

Your expertise will be crucial in providing reliable and secure network connectivity that supports critical business functions and drives operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust and scalable network solutions based on Cisco technologies to meet client requirements.
- Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing timely and effective support to minimize downtime and maintain business continuity.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures, to ensure accurate record-keeping and knowledge sharing.




- Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats, safeguarding sensitive data and critical infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement, proactively implementing solutions to enhance network efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate and implement new technologies, ensuring our clients benefit from the latest advancements in networking.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures using Cisco technologies.
- Proven expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
- Experience with network security principles and technologies, such as VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and firewalls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues quickly and effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies.
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly desirable.
