Company Description Utsav Camp Sariska is a nature retreat located in a remote area near the boulders of Tehla, created as a sanctuary for guests to reconnect with the natural setting. Founded by Luv Shekhawat, a trained naturalist with over 20 years of hospitality management experience, the camp blends professional service with deep respect for the local ecosystem.

The setting offers a peaceful atmosphere where visitors can experience the landscape, wildlife, and quietude of the region. The retreat emphasizes meaningful, nature-based experiences over conventional tourism, attracting guests who value sustainability and immersion in the outdoors.

Role Description The Naturalist will be responsible for guiding guests on nature walks and wildlife observation sessions, interpreting local flora, fauna, and geology in an engaging, accurate manner. The role includes designing and delivering educational talks or workshops, curating nature-based activities, and assisting with conservation-oriented initiatives at the camp.

The Naturalist will collaborate with the hospitality team to ensure guest experiences are safe, informative, and aligned with the camp’s environmental ethos. Daily tasks may also include maintaining observation records, supporting basic habitat monitoring,



and preparing materials such as trail maps or field notes. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Basanti, requiring flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of ecology, wildlife, and local natural history, with the ability to interpret and explain these topics clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience leading guided walks, outdoor activities, or environmental education programs in a rural or wilderness setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage guests of different ages, backgrounds, and interests.
- Ability to work safely and independently in remote outdoor environments, with sound judgment and basic first-aid awareness.
- Commitment to sustainable tourism and conservation, with a respectful attitude toward local communities and ecosystems.
- Relevant academic background or training in ecology, environmental science, wildlife biology, forestry, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in hospitality or guest services is an advantage, especially in nature-based lodges or camps.
- Comfort with flexible schedules and living/working in a remote location for extended periods.
