We are looking for a Motor Insurance Underwriter responsible for generating accurate and competitive motor insurance quotations by coordinating with multiple insurance companies and ensuring timely turnaround.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate motor insurance quotes for new and renewal business.
- Compare quotations from multiple insurers and recommend the best options.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for pricing, approvals, and underwriting queries.
- Verify customer and vehicle details before generating quotes.
- Ensure quotes comply with insurer underwriting guidelines.
- Maintain quote records and update CRM/MIS.
- Provide timely support to the sales team for quote requests.
- Follow up with insurers to achieve the best possible pricing and turnaround time.
- Stay updated on insurer products, pricing, and underwriting guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 13 years of experience in motor insurance quote generation or underwriting support.
- Knowledge of motor insurance products and insurer portals.
- Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and CRM/insurance software.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
