To achieve this, we live by our core values: creating customer delight, saving time, innovating boldly, and aligning passion with purpose.
We are looking for a Quality and Outcome Improvement (QOI) Analyst to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. This role is a critical bridge between our operational insights and our client-facing teams, ensuring our practices thrive and our mission is realized.
The Impact Youll Make
As a QOI Analyst, you are the guardian of practice health. You will equip our Client Success team with essential, data-driven operational insights to solve complex RCM challenges. By identifying trends and preventing revenue leakage, you empower our clients to enhance patient engagement and drive sustainable business growth.
Your Primary Responsibilities

- Monitor Practice Health: Track weekly Practice KPI metrics and performance presentations to identify and act on opportunities for improvement (20% of your time).
- Audit for Excellence:
Audit claims parked to the Practice level across all functions, providing actionable feedback to improve overall performance (20% of your time).
- Trend Identification: Partner with global stakeholders to identify, track, and resolve systemic issues affecting practice performance (10% of your time).
- Streamline Cash Flow: Monitor payer-provider credentialing updates and pursue ERA enrollments to expedite payments and minimize delays (15% of your time).
- Innovate Processes: Use data to identify opportunities for workflow automation and improve specialty-specific knowledge bases (10% of your time).
- Technical Efficiency: Create web portal credentials to expedite claim follow-up and minimize hold times (5% of your time).
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of end-to-end RCM experience in Physician Billing.
- Education: A Bachelors Degree in any field of study.
- Analytical Rigor: Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis templates) and a knack for solving complex KPI-related problems.
- Communication: Exceptional skills to negotiate and collaborate with global stakeholders and external third parties.
- Mindset: A results-driven approach with the agility to embrace change and the business savvy to understand the intersection of healthcare and technology.
Why ModMed? We believe in thinking big, having fun, and doing good. This role is a direct progression from RCM analyst-level positions, offering you a path to grow your career while making a tangible difference in the medical community. If you are passionate about using data to create "Customer Delight" and want to "Innovate Boldly," we want to hear from you.
ModMed is an equal chance employer. This description is general in nature and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
