Profile Overview

We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Model United Nations (MUN) Trainer to mentor school students in diplomacy, public speaking, debating, and international relations. The ideal candidate should have prior experience participating in or conducting MUN conferences and should be passionate about helping students develop research, critical thinking, negotiation, and communication skills through engaging and interactive sessions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging Model United Nations (MUN) sessions, introducing students to international relations, diplomacy, parliamentary procedures, and committee protocols.
- Develop students' public speaking, debating, negotiation, research, and critical thinking skills through interactive and activity-based learning.
- Mentor and prepare students for inter-school and intra-school MUN conferences, including position paper writing, speech preparation, and mock committee sessions.




- Plan and deliver structured, age-appropriate lesson plans while fostering leadership, teamwork, diplomacy, and respectful discussion.
- Coordinate with the school and Gyansthan team regarding schedules, conference preparation, attendance, and student progress, while providing regular feedback on performance.

Eligibility

- Prior experience as an MUN participant, chairperson, secretariat member, or trainer is preferred.
- A background in Political Science, International Relations, Law, Public Policy, Humanities, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for mentoring students and fostering leadership and global awareness.
- Ability to conduct engaging, interactive, and discussion-based sessions.
