Microsoft 365 Consultant / Lead

We are looking for a skilled Microsoft 365 Consultant / Lead with strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, migrations, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing multiple client environments, leading complex migration projects, and providing technical leadership in a managed services or consulting workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Microsoft 365 migration projects, including on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online, tenant-to-tenant migrations, and hybrid deployments.
- Administer and manage Exchange Online, Exchange Hybrid, mail flow, connectors, transport rules, and messaging security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Design and implement identity and access management solutions using Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, and identity governance.
- Manage SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance solutions, including Purview, DLP, eDiscovery, and retention policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Microsoft 365 infrastructure and migration issues.
- Act as the technical escalation point and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand business requirements and recommend technical solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
- Monitor Microsoft 365 environments proactively, ensuring tenant health, security, and compliance.
- Manage Microsoft 365 licensing, reporting, and ongoing optimization.

Required Skills





- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Strong experience leading Microsoft 365 migration projects, including:
- On-premises Exchange to Exchange Online
- Tenant-to-Tenant Migration

- Hybrid Exchange Deployments
- Expertise in Exchange Online and Exchange Hybrid administration.
- Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administration and automation.
- Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA, Entra Connect, and Hybrid Identity.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance features.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and client management skills.
- Experience working with Managed Services Providers (MSP) or IT Consulting organizations.

Preferred Skills

- Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM, Device Compliance, Application Deployment)
- Microsoft Purview (DLP, eDiscovery, Insider Risk, Sensitivity Labels)
- Microsoft Exchange On-Premises Administration
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert Certification
