Job Summary

Cloud specialist role focusing on enterprise messaging services in a hybrid work model owning end to end administration and optimization of cloud based mail systems for a multinational organization. The role requires five to six years of focused experience in Microsoft exchange online administration and M365 messaging platforms ensuring secure reliable and efficient communication for global teams.

Responsibilities

- Administer and optimize Microsoft exchange online environments to ensure reliable email delivery secure access and reliable messaging performance for global business operations.
- Manage on premises Microsoft exchange servers and related components to support coexistence scenarios and maintain robust hybrid messaging capabilities.
- Configure and maintain M365 messaging settings including policies connectors and transport rules to align with organizational communication standards and compliance expectations.
- Plan and execute messaging migration activities from legacy exchange or other mail platforms into M365 messaging services with minimal disruption to business users.
- Monitor messaging system health capacity and usage trends to anticipate issues implement corrective actions and maintain high availability across cloud and on premises environments.
- Implement and maintain security controls for messaging systems including authentication configurations access restrictions and threat protection features to protect organizational information.
- Collaborate with support and project teams to resolve complex messaging incidents analyze root causes and document sustainable solutions for future reference.
- Develop and maintain configuration documentation runbooks and standard operating procedures for MS exchange administration and M365 messaging operations to support consistent service delivery.
- Coordinate changes and upgrades within the messaging ecosystem following defined change management processes to reduce risk and maintain service stability.




- Support user onboarding mailbox provisioning and distribution group management activities to ensure accurate access and efficient communication flows across departments.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand messaging requirements translate them into technical configurations and continuously improve user experience in the hybrid work model.
- Align messaging platform management with company objectives for secure digital collaboration contributing to efficient information sharing and positive impact on teams and communities served.
- Participate in audits and compliance reviews related to messaging systems by providing accurate configuration details and implementing required remediation actions.

Qualifications

- Possess five to six years of hands on experience in Microsoft exchange online administration including mailbox management policies configuration and security features in enterprise environments.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in MS exchange administration for on premises deployments covering installation upgrades monitoring and troubleshooting of core messaging components.
- Show proven proficiency in M365 messaging capabilities such as transport rules connectors data loss prevention features and integration with other collaboration tools.
- Bring practical experience in M365 messaging migration projects including planning data validation coexistence management and post migration optimization.
- Apply solid knowledge of messaging MS exchange interoperability with identity and access services and networking fundamentals to ensure consistent user access.
- Exhibit capability to work effectively in a hybrid work model using remote collaboration tools while maintaining clear communication with technical and business stakeholders.
- Utilize analytical problem solving skills to diagnose complex messaging issues and implement precise actions that keep communication systems resilient and dependable.

Certifications Required Preferred certifications include Microsoft 365 Certified Messaging Administrator Associate or equivalent cloud messaging credential.
