Role Description The Merchandiser at SOROS is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for planning and organizing product assortments, ensuring collections are displayed in alignment with brand aesthetics and seasonal strategies. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with design and production teams, and analyzing sales data to optimize product mix and pricing.

The Merchandiser will oversee in-store visual merchandising, prepare product layouts, and ensure that displays reflect SOROS’s focus on texture and craftsmanship. The role also involves engaging with retail staff,



supporting customer-facing initiatives, and collaborating with marketing to drive product visibility and performance.

Qualifications

Strong Communication skills, including explicit verbal and written interaction with cross-functional teams and customers.

Customer Service and Retail experience, with the ability to understand shopper behavior and enhance in-store experience.

Sales skills, including the ability to analyze sales performance and support strategies that improve conversion and revenue.

Marketing awareness, with the ability to collaborate on product promotions, brand storytelling, and visual merchandising campaigns.

Experience in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle merchandising, with an eye for detail, design, and product presentation.

Ability to use basic retail and inventory management tools; comfort with spreadsheets or POS systems.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on accuracy and follow-through.

Relevant education in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
