Industry: Ball Bearing manufacutring Purpose of the Role To support process improvement initiatives, conduct process capability studies, validate customer samples, perform process audits, and assist in engineering design activities to improve quality, productivity, and process stability in bearing manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities1.
Process
Capability & Machine Performance
Conduct Cp/Cpk studies for ID, OD, and other critical manufacturing processes.
Collect and analyze process data.
Identify process variations and support implementation of corrective actions.
Monitor machine capability and process performance.

Process
Optimization & Standardization
Assist in standardization of machine parameters and process settings.
Support process improvement and productivity enhancement projects.
Prepare and update SOPs, process sheets, and work instructions.
Monitor process adherence on the shop floor.

Customer Sample
Validation
Perform inspection of customer samples as per drawing and specification requirements.
Coordinate with Quality and Production teams for sample approval activities.
Maintain records of sample inspection and validation.
Ensure timely submission and approval of customer samples.
4.
Process
Audits & Inspection
Conduct daily process inspections and product verification.
Perform process audits as per audit schedule.
Identify non-conformities and track closure of corrective actions.
Prepare inspection and audit reports.
- Design & Technical Development
Assist in preparation and modification of engineering drawings.
Support engineering changes and documentation updates.
Develop knowledge of bearing design, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
Participate in technical training and continuous learning activities.
- Documentation & Reporting
Maintain process capability reports, inspection records, audit reports, and engineering documents.
Prepare monthly progress reports on assigned projects and activities.
Ensure compliance with document control procedures.Required Skills
