Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in product design and development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading mechanical design activities, supporting prototyping and production, and ensuring high-quality, reliable product development in a fast-paced R&D; workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and validate mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Create and review detailed 3D models, part designs, and assembly drawings.
- Prepare and maintain technical drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
- Lead prototype development, testing, and performance evaluation.
- Perform tolerance analysis, GD&T; application, and dimensional validation.
- Coordinate with Product Development, Testing, Quality, and Production teams.
- Support design for manufacturability (DFM/DFA) and cost optimization.
- Identify and implement improvements in materials,



processes, and product design.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

- B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–8 years of experience in product design and development.
- Strong working knowledge of 3D CAD software such as:

- SolidWorks

- Autodesk Inventor

- PTC Creo
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and material selection.
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly methods.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

- Experience with prototyping methods (3D printing, CNC, injection molding, etc.).
- Knowledge of plastics, sheet metal, and consumer/medical device design.
- Understanding of regulatory standards for medical or wellness products.
- Experience in supplier coordination and vendor development.
