Role Description The Materials Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune District, responsible for overseeing all aspects of materials planning, procurement, and inventory control. This role involves monitoring stock levels, coordinating with production and purchasing teams, and ensuring that raw materials and components are available to meet production schedules.

The Materials

Manager will analyze material usage, optimize storage and replenishment processes, and maintain accurate inventory records in line with company policies and systems. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing demand forecasts, aligning materials supply with production planning, managing vendor lead times,



and implementing continuous improvements in materials management practices. The role also requires close collaboration with quality, logistics, and finance to support cost-effective and timely manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Materials Management and Inventory Management skills to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient material flow.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Control and Production Planning skills to align material availability with manufacturing schedules and capacity.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making related to materials and inventory.
- Candidates should bring proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems, along with MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, business, or a related field.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on process improvement.
- Experience in manufacturing, textiles, flooring, or related industries, and familiarity with lean or just-in-time practices, would be beneficial.
