Role & responsibilities

We sell UGC-entitled online degrees from leading universities through offline, relationship-based channels no digital advertising. The Marketing Head owns this ground game in Chennai: building and running a network of referral agents, closing institutional tie-ups, driving field marketing and career seminars, and leading the counselling team to hit enrolment targets each intake. This is a hands-on, target-owning leadership role for someone who wins on the ground, not behind a screen.

Key Responsibilities

- Agent network recruit, train, and manage a network of referral / sub-agents (coaching centers, consultants, insurance and tax agents) across Chennai. This is the primary growth engine.
- Institutional partnerships develop tie-ups with corporate HR/L&D;, coaching and computer-training institutes, and associations for bulk enrolments.
- Field marketing plan and run pamphlet campaigns, banners, career seminars, and field activations across OMR, the industrial belts, and commercial hubs.
- Team leadership lead the admission counsellor and field interns; set targets,



monitor the pipeline, and drive conversions.
- Targets own enrolment numbers for each intake (August and January); manage the offline lead pipeline and follow-up.
- Compliance ensure honest, verifiable selling (UGC-entitlement, accreditation) no false or guaranteed-outcome promises.
- Reporting track and report leads, conversion rate, cost per enrolment, and agent productivity

Preferred candidate profile

- 4–8 years in field sales, channel sales, or marketing — preferably education, EdTech, online degrees, insurance, or similar direct-sales sectors.
- Proven experience building and managing agent/channel networks or field sales teams.
- Solid knowledge of the Chennai market.
- Fluent in Tamil and English.
- Comfortable owning targets in an offline, relationship-driven, on-ground role.
