Role Overview

We are looking for a Manufacturing Execution Systems Manager to lead the implementation, integration and operational support of MES within a high-volume semiconductor assembly and test facility.

The role will own manufacturing workflows, WIP control, product genealogy, equipment integration, traceability and shop-floor system availability. The position requires strong MES expertise, manufacturing-domain knowledge and experience leading business-critical systems in a 24 7 production environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the site MES strategy, architecture, implementation and continuous-improvement roadmap.
- Manage MES deployment across semiconductor assembly, packaging, test, module and material-handling operations.
- Translate manufacturing requirements into system workflows, specifications and functional designs.
- Configure production routes, recipes, work instructions, process controls and dispatching rules.
- Establish real-time WIP tracking, product genealogy, lot traceability and manufacturing-data integrity.
- Integrate MES with production equipment, ATE, test handlers, automation and material-handling systems.
- Manage interfaces between MES, ERP, WMS, QMS, PLM and factory-data platforms.
- Lead system testing, validation, user-acceptance testing, deployment and production release.
- Support recent-product introduction, process changes, equipment additions and capacity expansion.
- Ensure MES availability, performance, cybersecurity, backup and disaster-recovery readiness.
- Establish incident, problem, change, release and configuration-management processes.




- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action for recurring system and integration failures.
- Develop dashboards and reporting for yield, cycle time, WIP, equipment status and production performance.
- Maintain master data, system configurations, user access and role-based security.
- Establish system documentation, standard operating procedures and support mechanisms.
- Manage MES vendors, implementation partners, software licences and service-level agreements.
- Build and lead a team of MES engineers, developers, analysts and support specialists.
- Provide 24 7 escalation support for production-critical MES incidents.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- 12 18 years of experience in MES, manufacturing systems, factory integration or industrial digitalisation.
- At least 4 6 years of experience leading MES teams or large manufacturing-system programs.
- Experience supporting semiconductor, electronics or another high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience implementing or managing enterprise MES platforms.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, WIP control, traceability and product genealogy.
- Experience integrating MES with equipment, ERP, WMS, QMS and automation systems.
- Knowledge of software development, databases, APIs and system-integration methods.
- Experience managing production-critical applications in a 24 7 environment.
