Role Description The Manufacturing Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in production. Daily activities include analyzing process flow, designing tooling and fixtures, supporting new product introductions, and resolving manufacturing issues in collaboration with production, design, and quality teams.

Engineer will monitor key performance metrics, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
The role also involves preparing technical documentation, training shop-floor personnel on recent processes, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to support scalable, reliable manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering, including process planning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Candidates should possess skills in Industrial Engineering, such as workflow analysis, line balancing, productivity improvement, and resource optimization.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Machining, including understanding of materials, tolerances, tooling, and machine operation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in a production or plant environment, preferably in automotive, off-highway, or related engineering sectors.
- Familiarity with CAD tools, engineering drawings, and GD&T;, along with basic knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO/TS, IATF).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities, with proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering software.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
