Role & responsibilities
Job Summary
MSN Laboratories is looking for an experienced HR qualified to lead the Plant HR & Administration function at our manufacturing facility in Patancheru. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing end-to-end Plant HR operations, Industrial Relations, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and administration in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with pharmaceutical manufacturing experience will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Plant HR
- Lead end-to-end HR operations for the manufacturing unit.
- Drive manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and separation processes.
- Ensure smooth execution of performance management and talent development initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement and retention programs.
- Support organizational development and change management initiatives.
Industrial Relations (IR)
- Maintain harmonious employee and workmen relations.
- Handle disciplinary matters, domestic enquiries, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution.
- Liaise with labour authorities and ensure compliance with labour regulations.
- Support collective bargaining and union-related matters, wherever applicable.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws including:
- Factories Act
- Industrial Relations Code
- Shops & Establishments Act
- Contract Labour Act
- Minimum Wages Act
- Payment of Wages Act
- EPF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity and other statutory requirements
- Coordinate statutory audits and inspections.
Administration
- Oversee housekeeping, transport, canteen, security, guest house, and facility management.
- Manage contract manpower and vendor administration.
- Ensure workplace discipline, safety, and employee welfare initiatives.
HR Operations
- Maintain employee records and HR MIS.
- Prepare HR dashboards and monthly reports.
- Coordinate internal and external HR audits.
- Ensure adherence to company HR policies and SOPs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing organization.
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliances.
- Hands-on experience in Plant HR, Industrial Relations, Administration, and Employee Relations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage the complete HR function for a manufacturing unit.
