Our client is a fast-growing, technology-enabled organisation operating in the work-as-a-service and gig workforce space.

The company helps large enterprises execute field-based and remote projects by managing the complete operational lifecycle. This includes identifying and onboarding service providers, deploying and training field teams, managing vendors and partners, monitoring productivity and ensuring quality outcomes for clients.

The organisation operates in a dynamic, high-growth environment and manages large, distributed teams across multiple projects and locations.

Role and Responsibilities The Manager Operations will be responsible for leading and scaling end-to-end business and field operations across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities include

- Manage the end-to-end execution of large field-based, B2B or service-fulfilment projects.
- Translate business requirements into structured operational plans with clear ownership, timelines and measurable outcomes.
- Lead and manage multi-layered teams, including field executives, supervisors, team leaders, gig workers, vendors and service partners.
- Plan workforce deployment, territory coverage, vendor capacity and operational resources according to business requirements.
- Monitor productivity, quality, turnaround time, costs, client satisfaction and SLA achievement.
- Develop and implement SOPs, process documentation, audits and quality-control frameworks.




- Identify operational gaps through root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Manage client communication, service-delivery concerns and escalations.
- Oversee the onboarding, productivity and performance management of field teams and partners.
- Track operational expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Prepare and analyse operational reports to improve performance and support business decisions.
- Identify operational risks and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 47 years of experience in operations, with at least 4 years of relevant exposure to B2B operations, field operations, logistics, last-mile delivery, gig workforce operations, vendor management or service fulfilment.
- Experience managing large or distributed teams, including on-ground employees, field executives, gig workers, supervisors or partner networks.
- Strong exposure to workforce deployment, territory management, vendor onboarding, productivity tracking and quality audits.
- Experience managing operational KPIs and client SLAs related to productivity, quality, turnaround time, cost and service delivery.
- Ability to manage client communication, internal stakeholders and operational escalations.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and operational reporting tools.
- Comfortable working in a rapid-paced, high-growth and performance-driven environment.
- Functional English communication skills are required.
- Candidates from logistics, ecommerce, quick commerce, staffing, facility operations, marketplace operations or field-service organisations will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 1530 days will be preferred.
- Must be comfortable working from the office in Bengaluru.
- Work schedule: 5 days a week, with alternate Saturdays as working days.
