Role:

Ensure dispatch of publications from the assigned mailroom at company-owned and external depots for circulation in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

- Coordination with production team to ensure timely printing as per print start & print finish schedules. Co-ordination & interaction with team for addressing supply/delivery related issues in market, if any.

- Communicating Print Orders of the different publications to the Production, based on data received from the branch.

- Dispatching challans to various cargo carriers railway agencies, air freighters, etc. 24 hours in advance.

- Monitoring accuracy of label & trip sheet/challan data for error free packing and dispatches.

- Proper deployment of supervisors & labor to ensure smooth operations.

- Vehicles planning with possible reductions in costs.

- Maintain all records pertaining to daily transport activity such as challans, slips etc. methodically to meet ABC audit and Internal audit requirements.

- Coordination with other branches for dispatch of national supplements,



editions published at the branch to other locations.

- Analyzing post-dispatch data for system improvements (complaints, etc.)

- Maintenance of gift stock in proper manner, monitoring of gift issues as per approved gate passes, cycle count of stocks on routine basis and sharing stock reports on regular basis.

- Timely indent for packing materials with procurement team through reservation in SAP and control over wastage of packing materials.

- Coordination with other branches for dispatch of national supplements, editions published at the branch to other locations.

- Analyzing post-dispatch data for system improvements (complaints, etc.)

Preferred candidate profile:

- Graduate with 10+ years of relevant work experience

- Must be from Supply Chain/Logistics / Dispatch Background

- Knowledge of Local language (Kannada)

- Must have knowledge of SAP

- Will be working in Night shift ( 9.00 PM - 5.00 AM)
