Handle all legal matter/ practices to secure the best interests of the organization in debt recovery through SERFASEI and other legal action

- Assist in Executing the strategies and procedures to be followed in debt recovery and maintain and prepare legal MIS for the assigned area.

- Provide legal opinion on debt recovery, arbitration, negotiable instruments act, civil matters and criminal matters, execution of warrants.

- Ensuring amicable resolution in against cases filed in police stations and ensuring execution of summons / bailable or non bailable warrants / awards / orders received from the courts with police help

- Manage the recovery litigation, physical possesion , auction under arbitration and SARFAESI laws and provide proactive legal strategy for all key accounts.

- Track all legal cases so as to ensure no slippages, visiting NPA accounts along with the collection team for faster recovery





- Initiating appropriate legal actions in delinquent accounts against borrowers under Arbitration and Conciliation Act

- Negotiable instrument Act, for recovery of dues including filing criminal complaints in qualified cases and take them to logical conclusion

- Assist the legal collections team for the implementation of a recovery agenda through deployment strategies

- Keep abreast of all latest developments/trends in local law/best practices with respect to collections, security creation and loan documentation.

- Proven soft skills in Excel, MS word and online legal search.

- Basic understanding of Collection process and NPA provisioning.

- Ability to handle Police matters and keep abreast of current laws and acts.

- Ensure
- adherence to Legal, Audit and Compliance norms for the department as well as policies and procedures of the company
