Purpose/Objective The L&D; Manager will design, implement, and manage learning strategies that enhance workforce capability across clinical and non-clinical roles in a healthcare setting.

This role ensures compliance with healthcare standards, fosters continuous career development, and supports organizational goals through structured learning programs.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Design blended learning solutions (classroom, e-learning, simulation labs) for clinical staff, nursing teams, and administrative personnel.
- Create leadership development programs for critical positions such as Nursing Supervisors, Medical Superintendents, and Department Heads.
- Implement onboarding programs for new hires and continuous education for existing staff.
- Coordinate CME (Continuing Medical Education) and skill enhancement workshops for doctors and nurses.

- Evaluate ROI of training programs through performance metrics and patient care outcomes.
- Ensure all training programs meet NMC guidelines and healthcare accreditation standards.




- Maintain audit-ready documentation for internal and external compliance checks.

- Drive adoption of Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) and digital learning tools.
- Incorporate gamification and simulation-based learning for critical care and emergency response teams.
- Partner with clinical heads, HR, and quality teams to identify skill gaps and training needs.

- Facilitate mentorship programs between senior clinicians and junior staff to build leadership pipelines.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Healthcare Management, or related discipline.
- Preferred certifications: L&D;, Instructional Design, or Healthcare Education.
- Minimum 5–8 years in L&D;, with at least 3 years in healthcare or hospital environment.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering clinical and non-clinical training programs.
