Job Title: Costing Manager / Head – Costing

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Costing Manager / Head – Costing to lead cost accounting and financial planning activities for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will drive cost optimization, budgeting, inventory valuation, and profitability initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead cost accounting and product costing activities.
- Develop and maintain standard costing and Activity-Based Costing (ABC) systems.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports.
- Monitor manufacturing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage inventory valuation and cost controls.
- Analyze production variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Production teams.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support strategic decision-making through cost analysis and business insights.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance profitability.

Required Skills




- Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;).
- Expertise in Standard Costing, Activity-Based Costing (ABC), and Inventory Valuation.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Navision, or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CMA/ICWA qualification preferred.
- 8–15+ years of experience in Costing, Finance, or Manufacturing Accounting within the FMCG or Food Manufacturing industry.
