for Maintenance Engineer Position

(Experience must in Automated Plant Equipment & DCS System )**

1. Mechanical Maintenance

- Responsible for mechanical maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to pumps, reactors, compressors, motors, valves, and utility equipment.
- Work on automated plant equipment and ensure reliable functioning during operations.
- Support operation and maintenance of DCS (Distributed Control System) and PLC-based systems.

2. Financial Responsibilities

- Track all maintenance-related expenses and monitor budget utilization.
- Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair/maintenance cost estimates.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and place orders for required items.
- Identify hazards and implement risk-reduction measures to minimize severity and probability.

3. System Management for Plant Maintenance

- Initiate procurement of maintenance spares, consumables, and tools.
- Ensure periodic testing, calibration, and stamping of instruments and weighing systems.
- Monitor hazardous waste (used oil, batteries, etc.) generation and disposal as per legal norms.
- Maintain and update factory layout plan, building plan, and facility plans.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities whenever required.

4. Safety Responsibilities





- Ensure proper housekeeping during and after maintenance activities.
- Maintain secure working conditions and enforce compliance with safety standards.
- Ensure all team members adhere to safety policies, lockouttagout procedures, and PPE usage.

5. Functional Competencies

- Initiate change-control procedures when any modification is required in the department.
- Monitor daily utility consumption (power, water, air, fuel, etc.).
- Prepare, implement, and update maintenance SOPs and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and resolve issues proactively.
- Plan and manage all repair, servicing, and installation activities.
- Support automation and DCS system troubleshooting to avoid process downtime.

6. Project Activities

- Define project scope, timeline, and objectives.
- Identify and develop vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
- Determine resource requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
- Prepare execution plans and project progress charts.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for smooth project execution.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Ensure quality of all procured equipment and completed work.
- Provide continuous supervision and inspection of contractor activities.
