As a Systems Programmer at Kyndryl, youll have the opportunity to shape the very foundation of the technology that drives our world. Your work will involve developing, testing, and maintaining the software that controls a computers operating system, hardware, and other systems software. Youll be a master troubleshooter and problem-solver, with the skills to fix even the most complex issues that arise. Not only will you be responsible for ensuring the security of our computer systems, but youll also work closely with other IT professionals to design and implement cutting-edge technology that keeps Kyndryl ahead of the curve.

In this role, youll provide the underlying Mainframe operating system platform programming and DBDC subsystem programming support that forms the backbone of our applications. Youll guide functional objectives on technologies and make use of your expert knowledge to drive solutions to complex problems.

As a leader in this field, youll also be expected to conduct RCA discussions for the products you work on and provide ongoing technical and operational guidance to lead professional work teams. You may even manage departments on a national or international level, defining objectives and managing resources to ensure the success of your projects.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- 5+ years of experience in HNS Mainframe environment with work management, user management, journal management and performance management.
- Mainframe Communication team needs core HNS system program skills. Host Network System support with adequate knowledge in this area with Mainframes background will allow to support the projects/customer.
- Mainframe HNS/VTAM support.
- NetView / SysView, FTP, SFTP, Axway CFT, Connect: Direct, VIPA, DVIPA, etc.in a complex GDPS environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other related fields
- Network Communications Subject Matter Expert.
- Full set of Mainframe Communication Server skills to support VTAM, TCP/IP.
