We are looking for Instructional Designers on contract for a duration of five months

Duration - 05 Months (Aug-Dec'26)

KEY EXPECTATIONS

1. Use instructional design principles, learning concepts, learning objectives, content chunking, and learning flow to create effective learning.
2. Write clear, simple, and learner-friendly content for middle school and high school learners in the U.S.
3. Use age and grade appropriate language and explain concepts in a way learners can easily understand.
4. Read and understand source content well, identify key ideas, and convert them into meaningful learning experiences.
5. Align content and activities to required state standards in the U.S.
6. Create storyboards that clearly map to the defined state standards and contain transparent directions for developers.
7. Design different types of learning elements such as micro-learnings, videos, simulations, scenarios, job aids, course guides, etc.
8. Create authentic workplace scenarios that help learners connect concepts to real-life career and job situations.
9. Apply learning models such as 5E and UDL in storyboards and learning designs.
10. Design screens, interactions, assessments, and learner activities that support the learning goals.
11. Create assessments that check understanding and match the learning objectives and standards.

Apply accessibility best practices while creating storyboards and write alt texts.
13. Use AI tools responsibly to plan, draft, improve, and check learning content.
14. Edit AI output to improve accuracy, flow, clarity, learner fit, standards alignment, and instructional value.
15. Understand how tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Vyond, Camtasia, PowerPoint, etc. work.
16. Understand feedback from SMEs, CEs, and other reviewers to implement it using strong instructional judgment.

Educational Qualifications:

- Any Bachelors degree and above Preferred areas Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, or Education Technology /Leadership

Experience Level:

- Years of Experience: 6 to 10+ years in instructional design.
- Sector Experience: Extensive experience in Career and Technical Education (CTE) or vocational training content. K-12 education US Education System

Following will be preferred for both the roles

- CTE Expertise: Experience in middle and high school CTE pedagogy and career exploration.
- Pedagogical Fluency: Proficiency in the 5E Instructional Model and the Gradual Release of Responsibility.
- Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-recognized certifications and state-specific CTE frameworks (e.g., TEKS).
- Modular Design: Ability to design self-contained, objective-driven modules that can be unbundled or stacked for different instructional needs.
