Role Summary

Responsible for managing end-to-end export logistics operations, ensuring timely, compliant and cost-effective shipment execution for global apparel customers. The role is accountable for shipment planning, transportation, customs clearance, export documentation, buyer compliance and adherence to all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including Customs, DGFT, EXIM Policy, HS Classification, Tariff regulations, Certificates of Origin (COO), Free Trade Agreements (FTA/CEPA) and Government Export Incentive Schemes. The incumbent will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence, process digitization, cost optimization and on-time delivery while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Robust knowledge of export documentation, customs procedures and international logistics.
- Sound understanding of Customs Regulations, DGFT, EXIM Policy, HS Classification, Tariffs, RBI/FEMA Guidelines, Incoterms, Certificates of Origin (COO), CEPA/FTA and Government Export Incentive Schemes.
- Hands-on experience in handling buyer portals, freight forwarder portals and export compliance requirements.
- Manage end-to-end shipment execution, including shipment bookings,



transportation planning, container/fleet placement, pre & post-shipment documentation and timely cargo handover within vessel, airline and CFS cut-offs.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of shipping documents on buyer portals, error-free documentation and adherence to customer payment and documentation timelines.
- Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders including Merchandising, Planning, Production, Factories, Finance and Senior Management, as well as external stakeholders such as Freight Forwarders, Transporters, Customs Brokers, Shipping Lines, Airlines and Government Authorities.
- Drive freight cost optimization, logistics efficiency, reduction of buyer chargebacks and continuous process improvement through digitization and automation.
- Excellent planning, coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in ERP systems, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, meet demanding customer timelines and deliver results with a high level of ownership, accountability and attention to detail.
