Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end import operations, ensuring timely shipment execution, customs clearance, and seamless coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, Customs House Agents (CHAs), and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete import logistics cycle from purchase order to warehouse delivery.

- Coordinate with overseas suppliers for production updates, shipment readiness, and container planning.

- Arrange and monitor container bookings with shipping lines and freight forwarders.

- Coordinate with CHAs for customs documentation, duty payments, and timely customs clearance.

- Track import shipments and proactively resolve delays or logistics issues.

- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs procedures, and DGFT requirements.

- Verify and manage import documentation, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Insurance,



and related documents.

- Coordinate with transporters and warehouses to ensure timely movement of cleared cargo.

- Monitor logistics costs, freight rates, demurrage, detention, and optimize overall supply chain costs.

- Maintain accurate shipment records, MIS reports, and import status dashboards.

- Work closely with procurement, planning, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.

Preferred Experience

- Excellent planning, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience handling imports from China and other international suppliers.

- Knowledge of duty structures, HS Codes, and import compliance.

- Experience managing multiple shipments and vendors simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
