Position

Live operations at Deltatre run continuously — our teams across Europe and India provide 24/7/365 coverage of live sports and entertainment events for clients around the world. The Live Operations team is the operational layer that makes sure each event reaches viewers without issues.

As Live Operations Supervisor, you will guide and coordinate the Live Operators on shift during live events, hold quality control over operational output, and manage client communications in real time. You report into the Event Manager or Live Operations Manager and act as the operational decision-maker on shift.

Shift-based 24/7/365 coverage, including evenings, weekends, late and overnight shifts at short notice. For this role you must be able to work on a hybrid basis with at least 2 days per week working in the Mumbai office in Andheri.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate the live-operator team during live operations
- Hold quality control over operational output across the shift
- Manage two-way communication with the client during live operations
- Manage operational escalations to internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent output quality




- Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders via instant messaging and phone
- Write shift handovers that give the next supervisor the context they need to take over cleanly

Requirements

You can stay focused and follow defined protocols during live events, even when several issues are in play at once. You are comfortable making decisions during live operations with the guidance available, and you know when to escalate.

Required

- 2+ years' experience in Live Operations within a broadcast or live streaming workplace
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues during live events, including the judgement to identify when to escalate to Level II or III support
- Hands-on experience with live online video streaming
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Clear communicator — able to explain issues credibly to support teams at multiple levels
- Comfortable making decisions during live operations with the guidance available
- Comfortable with shift-based coverage including evenings, weekends, late nights, and overnight at short notice
- Able to produce reliable, clear process documentation

Valued

- Hands-on experience with AWS Elemental Encoders
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
- Demonstrated familiarity with the protocols and systems used in this role, however acquired (degree-educated background welcome but not required)
- Genuine interest in sport — useful for context on the events being supported

- 1-hour Competency Based Interview: we will ask you situational questions around how you deal with real-life scenarios at work. Easier doing it, more than explaining it.
