As our Lead Software Engineer , you'll help shape the technical foundation of the company—from architecture and product decisions to building features that thousands of people will use to form meaningful relationships.
What you'll be working on:
- Architecting and scaling a consumer-facing mobile platform from the ground up.
- Building secure, scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Designing systems that support curated introductions, real-time messaging and intelligent matching workflows.
- Driving engineering best practices, performance and code quality.
- Collaborating closely with product and design to turn ideas into delightful user experiences.
- Making key technology decisions that will shape the platform as we scale across cities and eventually globally.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience building and scaling consumer products.
- Thinks beyond implementation and enjoys solving product problems.
- Writes clean, maintainable and scalable code.
- Is comfortable owning architecture, shipping features and making technical decisions.
- Enjoys the pace, ownership and ambiguity of an early-stage startup.
