QA LEAD | JAPANESE CLIENT EXPERIENCE MANDATORY

Pune | Hybrid | Full-Time (FTE)

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead who can take end-to-end ownership of product quality and lead QA delivery for complex web applications.

What You'll Own

- Define and drive QA strategy, test plans & quality standards
- Lead functional, regression, integration & non-functional testing
- Drive UI & API automation using Selenium / Playwright / Cypress or similar
- Own API, backend & SQL/database validation
- Manage defect lifecycle, RCA, quality reporting & release readiness
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of QA engineers




- Partner closely with Japanese clients/stakeholders and understand their expectations, communication style and work culture
- Drive QA processes, continuous improvement and delivery excellence

Must-Have Min 10 years in QA with 4-5 years in QA Leadership

Mandatory: Hands-on experience working with Japanese clients / Japan-based projects

Strong understanding of Japanese business culture & ways of working

Robust Automation + API Testing experience

SQL / Backend Validation

CI/CD & Jira

Excellent communication & stakeholder management
