Purpose/Objective The Lead Facade Design is responsible for overseeing the design and installation of facades, ensuring technical excellence, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with project requirements.

This role involves managing consultants, providing RFPs, finalizing designs, optimizing facade solutions, and partnering with techno-commercial teams to execute BOQs and appoint vendors.

The incumbent will lead technical reviews, engage in board-level discussions, and ensure seamless coordination from shop drawings to on-site installation.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Lead Facade Design Facade Design & Installation: Lead the design, detailing, and installation of facade systems, ensuring quality, efficiency, and structural integrity.

Ensure all facade installations adhere to project specifications, safety norms, and industry best practices.

Consultant & Vendor Management: Manage external facade consultants, from preparing RFPs to finalizing and optimizing design solutions.

Conduct technical evaluations and reviews of vendor proposals to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Facilitate all design discussions with vendors, reviewing their designs, shop drawings, and installation plans.

Cost Optimization & BOQ Execution: Develop cost-effective facade strategies while maintaining architectural intent and performance criteria.

Collaborate with techno-commercial teams for BOQ preparation, vendor selection, and contract management.

Ensure cost optimization while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Technical Reviews & Approvals: Oversee shop drawings,



ensuring accuracy and feasibility before approval for execution.

Conduct technical reviews and approvals of facade vendors and their proposed designs.

Monitor and coordinate on-site installation, ensuring adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.

Stakeholder Management: Facilitate discussions with internal teams on facade design, vendor selection, and project progress.

Address and resolve technical issues related to facade design and execution in coordination with project stakeholders.

Industry Trends & Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and innovations to incorporate best practices into facade design.

Promote sustainable and energy-productive facade design practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Civil Mechanical or a related field.

Work Experience (Range of years): 20 Years Preferred Industry: Experience in facade design, engineering, and project execution within the real estate sector.

Strong understanding of facade materials, structural systems, and performance parameters.
