Role Overview

- Serve as a senior domain expert for Genesis, Novel Patterns investment management and accounting platform.

- Shape product direction, lead client implementations and translate complex financial requirements into scalable product enhancements.

- Work across investment management, fund accounting, hedge funds, private equity, wealth management and alternative investments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead requirement gathering, solution design and stakeholder discussions for large-scale implementations.

- Manage greenfield and brownfield Genesis deployments for global clients, including configuration, testing, validation and go-live support.

- Ensure alignment with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

- Build CXO-level client relationships, conduct workshops and training, and mentor junior business analysts.

- Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency and accuracy across fund-accounting operations.

Qualifications

- MBA in Finance from a reputed institution or Chartered Accountant with a maximum of three attempts.





- 4-10 years of experience in investment management, hedge funds, private equity or fund-accounting operations.

- Strong exposure to fund accounting, investor reporting, valuations and regulatory compliance including SEBI, Ind AS, IFRS and US GAAP.

- Working knowledge of MS Office; Power BI, SQL, ERP systems, CFA, FRM or NCFM exposure is an advantage.

Candidate Profile

- Hands-on understanding of financial instruments including equities, bonds, derivatives, FX and swaps.

- Robust communication, presentation, stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills.

- Comfortable working across global time zones and travelling to client locations in India or overseas.

- Valid Indian passport with at least six months validity, or proof of renewal application.
