Job Summary:

Sabine Hospital & Research Centre is seeking an experienced and dedicated Labour Room In-Charge to lead and manage labour room operations at our Anayara, Thiruvananthapuram unit. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of patient care, effective team coordination, and compliance with clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of the labour room
- Ensure quality maternal and neonatal care in accordance with hospital protocols
- Coordinate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor and guide nursing staff in labour room procedures and patient care
- Maintain proper documentation, reports, and compliance with NABH standards
- Handle emergency situations efficiently and ensure patient safety
- Train and mentor junior nursing staff




- Ensure infection control practices and hygiene standards are strictly followed

Eligibility Criteria:

- Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / GNM with valid Kerala Nursing Council registration
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Labour Room, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Solid clinical knowledge in obstetrics and labour room management
- Good communication and team management skills

Preferred Skills:

- Leadership and decision-making ability
- Critical thinking in emergency situations
- Strong organizational and documentation
