Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and contributing to the development of cutting-edge optical and ophthalmology products. Your expertise will help maintain precise laboratory procedures, manage laboratory equipment, and uphold rigorous quality assurance protocols.

Responsibilities

- Perform a variety of laboratory techniques related to ophthalmology, physiology, and anatomy to support research and product development.
- Manage laboratory operations, including sample preparation, testing, and data recording with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment such as CNC lathes, optical devices, and other specialized tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow ISO 13485 standards for medical device quality management systems to guarantee compliance across all processes.
- Conduct routine quality assurance checks and document results meticulously to uphold high standards of safety and reliability.
- Assist in developing and refining laboratory procedures to improve workflow efficiency and product quality.




- Support inventory management of lab supplies and ensure proper storage of sensitive materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects involving optical systems, CNC machinery, or retail sales insights related to eyewear or vision care products.

Qualifications

- Proven experience working within a laboratory environment, preferably in ophthalmology or optical sciences.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and quality assurance practices.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards for medical device manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience operating CNC lathes or similar machining tools; optical experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and ophthalmology fundamentals relevant to vision care products.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication skills for documenting procedures and collaborating with team members.
