Job Summary

Spectrum Networks is hiring an experienced L3/L4 Security Engineer to provide engineering, architecture, and operational support for enterprise security infrastructure within a 24x7 Security Operations environment.

This role serves as the highest technical escalation point for complex security incidents and is responsible for security engineering, firewall policy governance, hardening, disaster recovery, compliance support, and mentoring L1/L2 engineers

Candidates must possess strong hands-on expertise in Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, WAF, IPS, Proxy, Endpoint Security, Guardium, and ITSM processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L3/L4 engineering and architecture support for enterprise security platforms.
- Design, review, optimize, and troubleshoot Firewall, WAF, IPS, DDoS, Proxy, Endpoint Security, and VPN solutions.
- Perform firewall policy design, rule review, optimization, and security hardening.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), advanced troubleshooting, and major incident resolution.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR), backup validation, and annual DR exercises.
- Support security governance, audits, compliance, and documentation.
- Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL/ITSM Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
- Prepare technical reports, SOPs, RCA documents, and security recommendations.

Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years of Enterprise Security Operations experience
- Check Point Firewall (CCSE/CCSM Preferred)
