Argus Consulting Private Limited is looking for an experienced L3 Splunk Monitoring Engineer to join our growing Technology Operations team in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and optimize enterprise Splunk environments.

Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, reports, and monitoring use cases.

Analyze logs, events, and telemetry to proactively identify operational issues.

Perform advanced troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Support and mentor L1/L2 monitoring teams for escalated incidents.

Improve alert quality and reduce false positives.

Work closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams.

Contribute to automation using Python, Shell, or similar scripting languages.

Ensure monitoring aligns with security, compliance, and operational standards.

Support capacity planning and platform performance optimization.





Required Skills

✔ 5–8+ years of experience in Splunk Administration/Monitoring

✔ Robust expertise in:

Splunk Enterprise

Dashboards

Alerts

Log Analysis

SPL Queries

✔ Experience with:

Linux & Windows

Network Monitoring

Application Monitoring

IT Operations

NOC/SOC

✔ Good scripting knowledge (Python/Shell)

✔ Excellent analytical and communication skills

Preferred

Splunk Certified Administrator/Power User

Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira)

Knowledge of cloud monitoring (Azure/AWS)
